Another Sign Of The Times

It’s strange that with all the jostling for position, lies and deceit that I’m not more outraged by the Election Campaigning.  Gordon Brown we know is an insincere lying scum-bag who is an unelected Prime Minister without a mandate, but who would probably like a man-date.  This is the man - and I use the word cautiously – who said “British jobs for British people” and promptly gave over 1,000,000 to foreign workers.
Nick Clegg pretends to be left of centre, but is really from a rather privileged background with a United Nations of a family who seems to want to take the front door of it’s hinges and let all foreigners come and go as they please.  He is too boring to make any real policy and rides on the coat tails of the other 2 parties, basically, the guy is a fucking idiot.
David Cameron is a bit too… well… slippery is the only word that springs to mind, he’s a nice chap with a nice family but he needs to stop banging on about his dead son, it’s inappropriate and isn’t winning him any votes, people are just not interested in it, they want to know what you are going to do when you get elected and if you are going to get the bailiffs in to boot Gordon Brown out of 10 Downing Street.  Please please, make policy, let people know what you stand for, what you as a government are going to do to improve things for us, the Great British public.
Who ever gets in to No. 10 assuming it’s not Gordon Brown is going to have the mother of all tasks to sort out his complete and utter incompetence and stupidity.  Remember, this is the person who sold our gold reserves at a time when the gold price was at an all time low, he was the freaking Chancellor of the Exchequer back then, the man holding the purse strings of the nation…  I truly believe that Gordon Brown will go down in history as the most unpopular and worst PM in British history.  I’m pretty sure that when the government changes they will get 1 term in office as there will be 4 years of unrest while they are sorting out the mess, and it will take at least that time to turn things round, and then we’ll have another election and things will change again.
Ferrari F1 team used to fire and change their pit crew on a whim until someone pointed out that there was never any consistency within the team and that although people made mistakes, firing them was not the way forward, re-training was.  As soon as they kept a team together they started winning races.  Now that Labour have had their time and done almost as badly as when they were in power in the 70s it’s time to get a new government in, it’s time for change, as soon as the conservatives get in to power international confidence will improve towards Britain, lets’ face it, no one likes Gordon, he’s a joke, and not in a good way.  As soon as confidence improves our economy will improve, recession will be but a meaningful memory and all will be well.  And no Gordon, you might try to take the credit for the recovery but no one will believe you.

Finally our stupid, corrupt, inept and incompetent government has told us what we already know; there will be a General election on 6 May 2010.  Why the big announcement?  I have no idea, people have had it marked in their diaries for several weeks now, it’s not like it came as a surprise to anyone.  This time I am voting, I have never voted before so can’t really criticise anyone fro not doing so, but if you don’t vote and the bad people get in again, it really is partly your fault, and if you do vote and vote for the bad people i.e. Labour then you are worse than Hitler and ought to be tarred, feathered and dumped at the town limit.  I never pray, I’m not religious, do not believe in a higher deity/god/he who is all omnipotent, but I do hope to all that is great, good and beautiful that Labour do not retain power in this country.  Never before has there been so much corruption, sleaze, lies, unnecessary legislation and general crap since the last Labour government was in power back in the ‘70s.  Do not waste YOUR opportunity to get rid of the parasites governing our country.  Vote Conservative or monster Raving Looney Party or for anyone else except Gordon “the dick-head” Brown.

The clocks have gone back, the evenings are lighter and the weather is improving, we’ve just had Easter weekend and had plenty of warmth and sunshine – at least where I live.  It’s amazing how much happier and friendlier people are when the weather improves and there is more day light.  I wonder why that is?  Maybe something to do with vitamin B, or is it D?  Neighbours have had their first BBQ of the year, albeit with chattering teeth and not having to wait for their sausages to cool down, the smell of freshly mown grass can be smelt through out the village, flowers and blossoming and that tree I pruned last year looks like it really is dead.

So what’s new in the world of my mother?  Not much really, it’s still same old same old.  Her neighbours and friends have been on holiday for 2 weeks so as she has had no company she invented some ills and went to see the doctor a couple of times for mystery ailments.  She does this regularly, as soon as she gets bored she becomes “ill” For a woman of her age, 73 she’s very fit and very healthy, looks 10 years younger than she is but unfortunately suffers from that common British ailment of being a pain in the arse.  She can’t embrace her health, she feels that because of her age something has to be wrong with her, because it ought to be, because in her mind she’s old.  Some of her friends use walking frames and really do struggle to get around yet never moan about being a bit infirm and make the most of what mobility they do have, yet my mother who really is very fit and very healthy does nothing but moan and feel sorry for herself.  Get a grip other and stop your bloody moaning.
